So you’ve gone through the challenge, and chances are you lost a little weight along the way, What now? How do you keep it up? Here’s a few strategies to keep your weight loss and healthy living going the whole way to the next weight loss challenge!
- Make your diet normal: So you probably took on some form of diet whenever you were going through the program. This may have involved cutting out sugar, counting your calories, meal planning, or any number of methods that you used to bring about a change in yourself. Now the next step come where you need to have a conversation with yourself and decide how to continue. Is the diet you used for the 8 week program sustainable for a long time? One thing that you can never forget is that The Best Diet is the One You Can Stick With. If your current diet is unsustainable, then maybe it’s time for a change to something a little different.
- Keep Up Your Workouts: You’ve been doing great! showing up for classes or working to lift and run when you can is an excellent start. Now you need to keep it up. Your beach body isn’t made on the days your feel great and want to work out, it’s made on the days where you’re too sore to get out of bed, its made on the days where it’s raining and snowing and you don’t want to go work out. KEEP IT UP. Motivate yourself and keep up with your workouts.
- Find a Goal: Why did you do so well in the wealthiest loser? Here’s a hint, you had a goal and motivation! Next step is finding your next goal to keep you motivated in the coming months. Summer is creeping closer and closer every day. Maybe you’re looking to impress on the beach, maybe you want to look better in your family pictures, maybe you just want to do it to do it!. No matter what, find your motivation and remember it!
